🧘♀️ I'm Rested, Refreshed... and a Little Shocked by AI (AGAIN!)
A quick break, a refreshed mind, and a voiceover tool that’s changing how I think about audio content.
Hi friends 👋
Last week, I fully stepped away from my laptop to reset, recharge, and enjoy the sunny days on the beach.
Side note: sometimes we forget how much we actually need rest until we take it.
This week, I came back with a clear head… and once again got blown away by how fast AI tools are evolving.
🎙️ The AI Tool That Surprised Me This Week: ElevenLabs
If you’re thinking of creating TikToks, Reels, a podcast, or even narrating an audiobook — listen up.
I tested ElevenLabs this week, a text-to-speech tool that turns written words into realistic voiceovers in 32 languages using 5,000 unique voice styles.
But here’s what really stood out:
The voices are surprisingly realistic
You can add emotion tags (like “excited,” “whispering,” “angry”) to make the voiceovers even more human-like
You can generate a multi-person dialogue
You can even clone your own voice if you want to sound like you, without needing to record every time
I tested it with some old content just for fun and I was honestly shocked at how real it sounded.
Note that this isn’t about replacing human creators — it’s about saving time and opening up new possibilities.
💡 A quick reminder:
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again:
AI won’t replace creators who know how to use it smartly.
What it will do is save you hours — so you can focus on doing the parts of your work you actually enjoy.
Want to test it for your own content?
Check out ElevenLabs here, most of it is free.
Let me know if you’ve played with any AI content tools — or if you’re thinking of creating audio content but haven’t started yet. I’d love to hear what you’re exploring.
See you next Friday,
Kate 🎙️
